The Board of Trustees has launched a national search for the next President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Florida Virtual School (FLVS) and FlexPoint. This milestone marks a pivotal moment in the organization's journey as it embraces new opportunities and prepares for continued growth.

Florida Virtual School (FLVS) is a fully accredited statewide public school district offering flexible online learning for Florida students in grades K–12. For 28 years, our certified teachers have supported student success through personalized instruction, with more than 8.8 million semester courses completed.
With 200+ courses and 80+ student clubs, FLVS provides a safe, engaging, and adaptable learning environment. We also power Florida Scholars Academy for students in the Department of Juvenile Justice and offer digital learning solutions to districts nationwide through FlexPoint, our international arm.
Today, FLVS serves more than 230,000 students and employs more than 3,700 dedicated team members, leading the way in innovative, student-centered education.

With strategic insight, political acumen, and a deep commitment to our mission, the President and CEO will guide FLVS and FlexPoint into their next era of global impact.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees and working closely with the Florida Department of Education, the President and CEO serves as both superintendent and chief executive officer. This leader will set a bold vision, steward resources, forge strong community and legislative partnerships, and advance our nationally recognized, student-centered organization as a leader in online education.
