Enrollment Now Open for Florida Virtual Full Time Public Schools Ahead of 2026–27 Academic Year
June 1, 2026

Families can now apply for FLVS Full Time, with enrollment open through July 17 and classes beginning Aug. 19.
Enrollment for Florida Virtual Full Time Public Schools (FLVS Full Time) opens June 1 for the 2026–27 school year and is open to Florida students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Families can apply through July 17. Early submission is encouraged due to the limited window. Classes begin August 19.
FLVS Full Time is an accredited, statewide, tuition-free public school district that provides a full-time, online education and follows the traditional academic calendar. Students attend scheduled, teacher-led classes, with live lessons required for elementary grades, core middle school courses, and advanced high school courses.
FLVS Full Time Public Schools is the only fully virtual public school district in Florida and comprises Florida Virtual Elementary School, Florida Virtual Middle School, and Florida Virtual High School. Students take a full-time course load and follow a traditional 180‑day school year from August through May.
“Each year, more than 9,000 students choose FLVS Full Time for a flexible, supportive learning experience that best suits their needs and helps them succeed academically,” said Brett Cucuel, director of instruction. “Our students benefit from dedicated teachers, structured live instruction, and a model designed specifically for online learning.”
Course offerings align with Florida academic standards and include more than 200 options across core subjects, electives, and world languages. Students can take honors, Advanced Placement, and Cambridge AICE courses, as well as dual enrollment and career and technical education classes in areas such as business, information technology, cybersecurity, and health sciences.
Students earn a high school diploma upon meeting graduation requirements. The district is the fourth-highest performing district in the state and achieved a historic high school graduation rate of 97% for the 2024-25 academic year. Just last week, the district achieved another milestone: the largest class in the school’s history.
Beyond the classroom, students can participate in more than 80 clubs and attend optional in-person events, including field trips and meet-ups across the state.
As part of the application process, families must provide proof of Florida residency and submit prior academic records. Families can apply at flvs.net/enrollment/full-time.
