Florida’s first lady recognizes Orlando first grader in Hispanic art contest

Like any typical 6-year-old, Eden Mejía enjoys drawing and coloring. One of her paintings earned her a bright spot among Florida Hispanic Heritage Month art contest winners. The Orlando first-grader was recognized by First Lady Casey DeSantis as the first-grade winner for a drawing titled “Notable Hispanic Americans in Florida”.
