FLVS Homeschool

Join the vibrant Florida Virtual School (FLVS) community of homeschoolers with FLVS Flex. We provide Kindergarten-12th grade homeschool students a variety of flexible options, offering choices in course schedule and pace. Create or complement your home education curriculum with a range of courses, planning your own schedule with support from our certified teachers and counselors. Parents who are new to homeschooling in Florida can check the FLVS Course Progression Guides for grades K-12 for help with selecting the right courses for their students.

For FLVS Flex homeschoolers, parents are in charge of their students’ home education program, which must comply with Florida Home Education statutes, including annual evaluation requirements (f.s. 1002.41). If you’re choosing to fully homeschool online, please check all the requirements on the Florida Department of Education website.

For more information specific to your district, please contact your school district for guidelines.
