Drafting 1 is an honors level career and technical elective that provides instruction in basic drawing and drafting skills using computer aided design software, applied mathematics, and technical drawing skills. Students will learn the basic functions of AutoCAD to create and modify two-dimensional sketches, sectional drawings, and multi-view drawings. After successful completion of the course, students will have the opportunity to earn an AutoCAD industry certification.
