Brady Ankney, a dedicated 16-year-old inline speed skater from Ocala and FLVS Flex student, is set to make an appearance on the international stage. This fall, Brady will travel to Beidaihe, China, to compete in the 2025 Speed World Championships as a member of Team USA. Held from Sept. 13–21, this elite event brings together the world’s top athletes in one of the most prestigious competitions in the sport, and Brady is ready to race for gold. The event was being held at the Beidaihe International Roller Skating Center, a facility known for its 200m indoor track and road circuit.
Brady was featured in an article published in Ocala-News.com in July 2024.
