Hispanic Heritage Month

Honoring Culture, History and Traditions
Hispanic Heritage Month is observed annually from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, celebrating the contributions of Hispanic communities to the nation's history, culture, and achievements. It’s a time to honor the diverse voices, traditions, and innovations that continue to shape American life.
Each year, FLVS students come together in many ways to celebrate, through virtual activities, including learning about traditions, prominent figures and inventors, the history of Salsa dance, cooking Hispanic food, and trivia games.
FLVS Webinar Series
In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, FLVS will host a series of engaging webinars for students and their families to explore the rich history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic communities. Topics will include famous Hispanic artists, cultural landmarks, culinary traditions, and inspiring stories of leadership and service—from Florida’s hidden heroes to global influencers in music, art, sports, and more.
Event details and the full schedule will be posted here as soon as it is available
