These scores place FLVS Full Time Public Schools in the top 10 non-lab school districts in the state for all core subject areas, which include English Language Arts (ELA), U.S. History, Biology 1, Algebra 1, and Civics.
“Our incredible students underscore the power of online learning,” said Dr. Louis Algaze, president and chief executive officer of Florida Virtual School. “Whether they enroll with us to catch up, get ahead, balance their extracurricular activities, or simply prefer learning online, students are using the flexibility and support that Florida Virtual School offers to increase their learning comprehension. I want to thank our dedicated teachers, who are the biggest pillar of support for our students. They meet students where they are every day, offering individualized instruction and resources to help them succeed.”

Among the top three school districts for English Language Arts (ELA), 66% of students in grades three through 10 scored on or above grade level.
Among the top five school districts for the U.S. History EOC assessment, 78% of students performed on or above grade level for the second year in a row.
