Florida Virtual School Names First-Ever National Geographic Bee School Champion

Florida Virtual School (FLVS) is proud to announce 6th grade student Jacob Maynard as its winner of the first round of the National Geographic Bee (Geo Bee) competition. Maynard competed alongside other members of the FLVS Geography Club, all of whom live in various cities across the state. The competition took place at the FLVS headquarters in Orlando. This was the first time FLVS, or any virtual school, has competed in the National Geo Bee.Related News

Military Family Student Completes Florida Driver Education Course from South Korea
Florida Virtual School Flex (individual courses) student Emily Charpentier, who currently lives in South Korea, recently completed the FLVS driver education course from abroad, preparing her to apply for a learner’s permit when she returns to the state this summer.
