Science Fair
Ready to explore the world through science?
Whether you're a curious beginner or a budding inventor, the Science Fair is your chance to ask big questions, test ideas, and share discoveries with your school community.
Hosted by the FLVS Science National Honor Society (SNHS) and Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), this annual event is open to all FLVS students in grades K–12 (Flex and Full Time). Participation is completely optional and not tied to any specific class. If you're interested, you're invited.
What You'll Do
Throughout the school year, students independently design and conduct their own scientific investigations. You’ll:
- Ask a testable question and form a hypothesis
- Plan a safe, step-by-step procedure
- Journal observations and collect data
- Present your findings through a written report, oral presentation, and project display
This hands-on experience builds critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills one experiment at a time.
