Entrepreneur Excellence

July 20, 2025 - Using the economic savvy and industry insights they picked up in their FLVS Social Studies class, sisters Scarlett and Isabella Wish turned an optional worksheet into a full-blown business adventure. Inspired by the challenge to create their own business, these young entrepreneurs didn’t just dream; they did. With bold hearts and birthday money in hand, they invested in supplies and ingredients, ready to bake up something special.

Armed with a solid business plan and a sprinkle of marketing magic at their local jiu-jitsu gym, the girls launched “The Bread Basket” — a homemade sourdough bread business based on a cherished family recipe. What started as a class project quickly rose (pun intended!) into a community favorite. To date, they've sold over 150 loaves to their neighbors in Loxahatchee, proving that with a little courage, a lot of heart, and a dash of flour, anything is possible.

FLVS Future Farmers of America (FFA) club

July 3, 2025 - The FLVS Future Farmers of America (FFA) club made history at the 97th Florida FFA State Convention and Expo, and three outstanding students led the charge.

Nick Campbell became the state champion in the Employment Skills Leadership Development Events, won first place in the Agriscience Fair, and was elected District President—a true example of leadership and excellence.

Isabelle Jenkins earned top honors in Agriscience Research, placed second in the Agriscience Fair, and was named Star in Agriscience State Winner. She also made history by becoming the first-ever FLVS FFA Club member to be elected as a state officer, becoming the Florida FFA State Secretary.

Reagan Rowe broke new ground as the chapter’s first-ever Area III State Vice President, earning one of the highest leadership roles in Florida FFA. Her election marks a major milestone for our FLVS FFA Club.
