U.S. History EOC
What do I need to know?
The state of Florida has instituted an End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment for U.S. History students designed to measure student achievement of the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. During the 2016-17 school year, students taking the MJ Civics EOC will have the following testing windows:
- September 12–23, 2016
- November 28–December 16, 2016
- April 17–May 19, 2017
- July 10–21, 2017
Your exact testing date within these windows will be determined by your district. Some districts may have specific rules/restrictions for each test administration.

How can I prepare?
||REQUIRED: To access the electronic Practice Assessment Tool (ePAT). All students are required to take the six-item practice test before taking the EOC Assessment. This practice test will help you gain familiarity with the types of questions and test functionality.
||Students taking U.S. History with FLVS can access Shmoop EOC reviews FREE! Check with your teacher to get your password. If you are not taking U.S. History with FLVS, seek parental permission to purchase Shmoop.
||FLVS has created a practice test that represents the actual End-of-Course Assessment to help you study. Check your answers here.
||Ask your district for a username and password for the FCAT Explorer/Focus for benchmark-level assessments.
