Algebra 1 EOC

What do I need to know?

Public school students enrolled in Algebra 1 must participate in the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) Algebra 1 End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment. During the 2018-19 school year, students taking the FSA Algebra 1 EOC will have the opportunity to test during one of the following administrations throughout the year:

  • September 10–28, 2018
  • November 26–December 14, 2018
  • February 25–March 15, 2019 (Retake administration for seniors only)
  • May 1–29, 2019
  • July 15–26, 2019
Your exact testing dates within these windows are determined by your district. Some districts may have specific rules/restrictions for each test administration.

Access our Student/Parent Letter regarding EOC assessment information for details.

How can I prepare?

REQUIRED: Students must take the Algebra 1 EOC practice test prior to taking the FSA EOC assessment. This practice test will help you gain familiarity with the types of questions and test functionality.

FLVS has prepared a practice test guide that walks you through the practice test. This guide is designed to help explain the different item types, tools, and features of the FSA Algebra 1 EOC.

Students taking Algebra 1 with FLVS can access Shmoop EOC reviews FREE! Check with your teacher to get your password. If you are not taking Algebra 1 with FLVS, seek parental permission to purchase Shmoop.
