Computer Science Students Competition News
On Saturday, February 23, 2003 thirteen students from FLVS participated in the 5th annual high school programming competition held at Embry Riddle University in Daytona Beach. The students were given a set of 9 problems and had three hours to solve as many as they could.
At the end of that time two FLVS student placed in the top four. Michael Lewis placed third and won $900.00. Paul Stansifer place first and won $1300.00. Both students were also given scholarships to Embry Riddle.
