One
of the reasons you have been assigned to work here in the Resource Room
is so that you can begin to decide on a career direction at OCI. Selenium
Sara has found a wonderful web site for you to access and learn from.
At this web site, you will discover your skills, interests, and values
as they relate to your potential career path. In other words, what are
your aptitudes? Pay careful attention to the findings - you just may
learn something new about yourself! |
- Go to the MazeMaster
site on the Web and then click on English
to access the career assessment.
- Click on Login
and Create an Account
and then enter a new Log In Name and Password.
You don't have to use your real name, if you
choose not to, but be sure you enter your username in all lowercase letters with no spaces.
- Click on Self-Assessment
to begin your assessment.
- Click on Login
and enter your new username and password to login.

--Answer all questions. Take the time to work
through each section thoroughly.
Note: The Main page does not have a menu to
reach the other sections. Please use your browser's Back button
to return to the menu after reading this page.
Note: If you have difficulty with the MazeMaster site, please use this alternate self-assessment from Career911. (At the end of the self-assessment, be sure to select "No" for each of the questions that appear.)
- When you finish all sections:
- Once you finish your Action Plan, print
out the results.
- File your Action Plan behind the module
8 tab in your Employee Manual.
- You will use your Action Plan to complete
the rest of your assignment.
- In a formal memo to your instructor,
discuss how your personal interests, skills, and values relate to
one another. How will your Action Plan help you reach your goals
and career plans? There
is a document in the OCI Handbook
that summarizes the proper formatting.
- What occupations are you most suited for?
Why do you think so? What are your personal strengths and weaknesses?
Can you think of any other occupations your skills and values
can transfer to?
- Discuss your findings in
the Mazemaster site. Save
your file as yourlastnameJob80.
Submit the file to your instructor for
grading.
