Pam Birtolo
Chief Learning Officer
Ms. Pam Birtolo, is a visionary leader in online secondary education. She began her online education career as a Regional Coordinator for FLVS. Later, she became the founding principal of The Sagemont Virtual School, a private online high school. She has taught in high schools and colleges, lectured in universities, and delivered teacher technology training statewide. Ms. Birtolo has presented the concepts of distance learning to national audiences and has been published in educational journals. She serves on the Board of Directors of NACOL and is a certified Baldrige examiner.
Ms. Birtolo earned her Master's in English Education from the University of South Florida and her certificate in Rehabilitation Administration from DePaul. She brings innovation, compassion, and a quest for excellence to the world of online learning and teaching.
