The Florida Virtual School operates under the guidance of a Board of Trustees consisting of seven members appointed by the Governor.The 2000 Florida Legislature created the Board in law and state policy for the Florida Virtual School (s. 228.082, F.S.)

	Chairman of the Board, Mr. Bob Muni, of Gainesville, Manager of the Mortgage Department for M & S Bank, for a term beginning in September 2004 and ending in September 2008.
	Dr. Nicholas Gledich, of Orlando, Chief Operations Officer Orange County Public Schools, for a term beginning in September 2004 and ending in September 2008.
	Dr. Dhyana Ziegler, of Tallahassee , Assistant Vice President for Instructional Technology at Florida A&M University. Re-appointed through September 10, 2010.
	Ms. Suzanne Martin, of Tallahassee , Business Development Director of ACS Government Solutions, reappointed for a term beginning January 27, 2004 and ending September 10, 2009.
	Dr. Robert Williams, of Orlando , department chair at the University of Central Florida for a term beginning January 27, 2004 and ending September 10, 2011.
	Ms. Kay Young, of Tallahassee, Former Executive Director with the Florida Learning Alliance for a term beginning January 27, 2004 and ending September 10, 2011.
	Ms. Renée Benton, of Tampa, President and CEO of Tampa Bay WorkForce Alliance, Inc. Re-appointed through September 10, 2010.
