Dear Kassie,

My best friend's father and stepmother are getting divorced and I know I shouldn't be selfish at a time like this, but you see my friend lives two hours away from me. The last time I saw him was on my 14th birthday. But now I'm scared that I will never be able to tell him how I really feel and maybe not ever see him again. I am really devastated and in a lot of pain over this situation. I am really scared to talk to my family let alone my friend. But I really want to tell him how much I have always liked him. What should I do?

Dear Devastated,

I know what you mean, gurl. I had a guyfriend that I liked and I was too scared to tell him. Now he's takin his girlfriend to the movies instead of me. Tell him! How? Drive, Email, Phone, IM, US Mail or Hitch-Hike it! (I'm just kiddin). If you make some effort to reach him and explain your situation he won't think you are copping out by writing an email or sending mail. Does he have any friends you know? If you tell your parents, you know the advice they are going to give already. Unless you got cool parents. Whatever you do REACH him. 'Cause it won't last forever. If you wait too long, he might find someone else and it will be too late.
