Adjunct
Teachers Serve FLVS Coast to Coast by Lori Gully Instructional Manager (Adjuncts)
About
half of the teachers at FLVS work as adjunct, or part-time, employees.
Working in this way is a cool way for a teacher to try out the online
environment while still having the flexibility to continue working
in a traditional school, staying home with small children, or having
a part-time job after retirement.
The 42 FLVS adjuncts live in 22 different Florida
counties, and one even lives in Georgia! Together, they are serving
more than 1,800 of the current FLVS student enrollments.
If you know a great high school teacher who
likes technology, please refer him or her to the jobs area of our
website. FLVS is always looking for great folks to join our part-time
staff! What greater recommendation is there for a teacher than that
of a student?
