As we take a look around, we see eight foot snowmen standing on lawns, rows of Christmas trees lined up under a tent, and mistletoe hanging in the doorways of every other house. For most, this brings a smile to their faces. But for others, a sudden panic comes to their minds. This is mainly because it is yet another year they forgot to get ready for the holidays early.

Each time the holidays roll around, there is always a rush to get everything done. But don’t tape, scissors and wrapped presentworry; you are not the only one. However, a solution is here! Listed below are a few simple tips to keep you from being the one who is shopping and getting ready at the last minute.

  1. Get decorations out the day after Thanksgiving
  2. Make a list of who you need to shop for weeks ahead of time
  3. Go shopping and wrap gifts at least a week before the actual holiday
  4. Mail out those cards two weeks early, just to be on the safe side
  5. Try cooking the main part of the dinner the night before
  6. Make sure you have room for Grandma and Grandpa in the house
  7. Take a hot bubble bath with no disturbance the night before

Following these seven simple tips, you are guaranteed to have relaxing and stress-free holidays. And after they are all done, put a smile on your face and pat yourself on the back, because you survived the holidays!
