Online Professional Development for Teachers of Advanced Courses
During these workshops, FLVS AP teachers will share tips and resources that focus on critical thinking skills, especially, analysis, synthesis and evaluation, essential for student success in college-level courses including:

AP English Literature & Composition (Oct 10, 2009 or Jan 30, 2010)

AP English Language & Composition (Oct 31, 2009 or Jan 30, 2010)
-
AP Art History (Nov 7, 2009 or Feb 20, 2010)
-
AP Calculus AB (Oct 17, 2009 or Jan 23, 2010)
Each online workshop is approximately 3 hours and hosted by an experienced FLVS AP educator. FLVS AP courses adhere to College Board Audit Requirements. FLVS follows the National Staff Development Council's standards for Professional Development and is approved as a provider of staff development by the Florida Department of Education. FLVS will provide each participant with a certificate of completion which may be submitted for in-service credit.
