On August 24th and 25th (10am-8pm), Florida Virtual School will host our Momentum 2011 Virtual Open House. Imagine stepping into a virtual conference center world bustling with energy that features radical technology, avatars, a whole slew of booths to visit, leading experts to listen in on, and peer sessions to attend—all from the comfort of your own home.

Our “momentum” themed open house is designed to keep you moving forward with positive energy. We are here to help you set goals, plan your path to college, and gain leadership experience. For example, did you know FLVS has a plethora of clubs to join and ways to get involved? We have invited a large group of FLVS student leaders to tell you how they have made our amazing resources and activities work for them and their future. FLVS has so many tools available to you—from tutoring and career counseling to tech help and tips on managing your crazy schedule—and we want you to take advantage of them! Come meet our social media guru, student ambassadors, CEO, and innovation experts. We just may let you in on a few top secret projects we are working on for you, including awesome new courses just beginning the development process. |
