What is the End-of-Course Assessment?
During the 2010 legislative session, Governor Crist authorized the implementation of End-of-Course (EOC) Assessments in several courses. All public school, charter school, and Florida Virtual School Full-Time students are required to take these assessments when instructed by their districts. The Algebra 1 EOC will be offered December 2011 – January 2012, in April and May 2012, and again in July and August 2012. The Biology and Geometry EOCs will begin in April and May of this year.
