Learning Recovery™
At Florida Virtual School, we believe in Learning Recovery, not just credit recovery. Our Learning Recovery program provides your struggling students with teacher supervised, customized learning to meet their unique needs, when they need it.

While offering the same remarkable choice in time, pace, and place of learning as our other courses, Learning Recovery courses provide students who are falling behind with the added opportunity to focus exclusively on content they have yet to master.

Virtual Summer School
For educators who are looking to provide students with quality credit recovery during the summer, our Virtual Summer School program is an ideal choice.

FLVS recognizes the challenges involved in finding affordable alternatives to "click and complete" summer programs. To help you with this challenge, we’ve developed a 10-week prescriptive learning solution that addresses each student’s specific need in a summer timeline.

How do these programs work?
Learning Recovery and Virtual Summer School offer students the ability to pre-test for each module of a course, enabling them to bypass modules in which they are already proficient. Pre-test results are designed to identify specific content a student will need to focus on in order to successfully master all key course standards.

The minimum enrollment is 20 seats and can be distributed in any of the following available courses:

High School:

Algebra I, Algebra II
American Government
American History
Biology
Chemistry
Earth Space Science
Economics
English I, English II, English III, English IV
Geometry
Personal Fitness
Physical Science
Physics
Life Management Skills
World History

Middle School:

Mathematics I,Mathematics II, Mathematics III

Your school, district or state will have the choice to either use certified FLVS teachers or your own instructors to teach courses. If you choose to use your own teachers, FLVS will provide valuable training and preparation.

Learning Continuity
Educators always want to be prepared for possible school closures due to natural disasters, threat of illness, or other important safety concerns. When students cannot access their schools in a safe fashion, educators can "virtually" bring school to them with Learning Continuity.

How does Learning Continuity work?
Learning Continuity courses are hosted by FLVS, providing educators with a turn-key solution that includes student and teacher access to online course content, assessments, and assignment submissions.
