The Foundation for Florida Virtual School

The Foundation for Florida Virtual School is the philanthropic arm of the Florida Virtual School, a state-wide K12 school whose mission is to deliver a high quality, technology-based education that provides the skills and knowledge student need for success in the 21st century.

The Foundation for Florida Virtual School focuses on assisting students in our community as our mission and vision statements clearly establish by supporting educational projects and events that are not paid for with tax dollars.  The value the Foundation adds is in flexibility where tax monies are typically more restrictive.  The foundation maximizes its impact via the private dollars brought into the effort.

Foundation goals include:

• Laptops for Learners - a community centered laptop loan program to facilitate student success
• Professional Development for Staff – enriching staff learning opportunities
• Awards & Scholarships  - provide expanded educational opportunities for both students and staff, as well as recognition of excellence.

How You Can Help:
Contribute to one of the programs, sponsor an award or scholarship, or volunteer your services are a few of the ways in which you can help.
