Nichole Taylor says that pop culture sometimes suggests that clear, expressive writing and speaking is not worth the effort. However, she also believes that a good teacher can nevertheless help students find relevance and personal meaning in good literature and well-constructed thought.
Since 1997, Mrs. Taylor has taught all four grade levels of English including Advanced Placement Composition. Her approach with all students is to serve as a facilitator who engages students in a dialogue of ideas.
