“I wish I could have taken Florida Virtual School courses when I went to high school!” That is how Nancy Mallison feels about the quality of the FLVS curriculum. That is also how she feels about the quality of the FLVS faculty who teach that curriculum.

The Training and Development department is the first point of contact that new employees have with the school, and also the source of ongoing professional development for existing employees. The FLVS training department prides itself on delivering information in an engaging and enthusiastic manner, whether learners are face to face or in the virtual world.

Prior to coming to FLVS, Mrs. Mallison worked in training and development for the banking industry. Her goal then, as it is now, was to help employees make the most of their careers and their service to the organization. At FLVS, she helps employees acquire a high level of comfort in their new environment.

A high degree of enthusiasm is among the most significant assets Mrs. Mallison brings to her job. With a focus on accuracy and energy, Mrs. Mallison works with her team to excite employees with the prospects for excellence in their new jobs.

Mrs. Mallison earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a minor in Communications from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo . She lives in Orlando with her husband of 15 years.
