“There is a book to hook every kind of reader,” proclaims Ms. Marshall, “and this philosophy is evident in my teaching.” For her, reading is the wellspring for discovering and cultivating new ideas. She believes that reading opens new doors in life.
Ms. Marshall was a Reading and Language Arts teacher in Orange County , Florida before traveling to Lawndale , California to take a job as a reading specialist. Happily, she returned to Florida in 2003 to pursue her Ph.D. in Reading Education.
