Jill Dickinson joined the FLVS staff in February 2000 after spending five and a half years teaching mathematics at a Central Florida high school. Mrs. Dickinson holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education with certification in Mathematics grades 6-12. She received her degree from the University of Central Florida in 1992. She has a passion for teaching and enjoys seeing students learn and grow. In her career at FLVS, Ms. Dickinson taught Algebra 1, played a role in the mentoring program, acted as the math curriculum team liaison and worked as an application development specialist, designing and developing courses for the web.
Ms. Dickinson worked as a leader and supervisor for FLVS instructional staff for the last 2 and a half years. Her communication skills, passion for helping others, and ability to support teamwork helped her teacher colleagues experience success with their students. Currently, Ms. Dickinson is serving in the role of Director of Instruction supporting both the Instructional Leadership and Counseling teams.
In her personal time, Ms. Dickinson enjoys running, reading and spending time in the Florida sunshine with her family. Her husband, Christian Dickinson, is an administrator in St. John's County. She has three children, one boy and two girls.
