Jeff joined Florida Virtual School in 1998. He began as the developer and teacher of the Marine Science course and also taught and co-developed the AP Biology course. He served as a Web Development Specialist, Project Manager for in-state course licensing, Database Web Manager, and Instructional Leader before moving to his current position as Director of Instruction. Jeff has a B.S. from Kent State University and an M.S. in Educational Technology and an Ed.S in Ed. Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
Before coming to FLVS, he taught Biology, Biology II and Marine Biology for eight years at Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach where he also served a year as technology coordinator. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys surfing, fishing, and going to the beach with his wife and two children.
