There is a large number
of accountants, business executives, and business education
teachers who have used the knowledge they learned from Frances
Muņoz to become successful in their careers.
For more than thirty
years, Ms. Muņoz has been involved in every aspect of business
education, from classroom teaching to curriculum development.
She has taught Keyboarding, Accounting, Business Cooperative
Education, Computer Applications, and Web Design. Two years
ago, after retiring from the classroom, she trained her replacement,
and went on to provide training to several other business education
teachers throughout Florida.
Today, Ms. Muņoz is back
in the classroom, the virtual classroom, as a Florida Virtual
School adjunct faculty member. She believes that FLVS is leading
the way in the development and delivery of effective high school
instruction. Eager for new challenges as an online teacher,
Ms. Muņoz brings a high level of enthusiasm, patience and experience
to her new assignment.
Ms. Muņoz also brings
an extensive technology background to her work. She holds MOUS
certification in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
software. She has also has extensive experience in the development
and adoption of business education standards for the State of
Florida.
Ms. Muņoz earned her
M.S. degree in Supervision and Administration from Nova Southeastern
University. Her B.A. degree in Business Education is from Florida
Atlantic University.
