Cindy Knoblauch

Cindy Knoblauch has experienced online instruction as a teacher, as a parent, and as a student. As a home schooling parent, she incorporated Florida Virtual School courses into the curriculum taught to her children. As a FLVS teacher, she uses the flexible qualities of online instruction to offer individualized learning opportunities to her students.

Mrs. Knoblauch’s 23-year teaching career covers a wide range of subjects. She has taught in primary and secondary grades, as well as exceptional and adult vocational education.  She is certified in all subject areas of Middle School, and English grades 6-12. She has twice been named to “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.”

In each teaching venue, Mrs. Knoblauch has used her ability to organize and deliver instruction in ways that enable students to grasp the material. She is skilled at developing a respectful rapport with students resulting in a learning environment that supports success. As a result of her instruction, many students have discovered a renewed interest in learning, and in setting and achieving individual goals.

Mrs. Knoblauch has also worked outside the classroom as a newsletter editor, a web designer, and in CAD drawing and digitizing. She has been published in the Journal of Family Life and in various home school publications.

Mrs. Knoblauch completed her Master of Science degree entirely online. Her degree in Instructional Design and Development in Distance Learning was awarded by Florida State University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education with a minor in Elementary and Middle Education, also from FSU.
