Mrs. Finora has continuously been involved in supervising and counseling interns and practicum students. She has also published training guides and manuals for Pasco County counselors, and continues to conduct workshops and other trainings.
At FLVS, Mrs. Finora serves 24 Florida school districts, responding to hundreds of e-mails and voice mails weekly. She says, despite the large number of inquiries, she provides the kind of personalized attention that offers important information, helpful advice, and large amounts of empathetic understanding. Ms. Finora also enjoys traveling to her many districts to work with school counselors in the field. This thoughtful attentiveness assures clients that FLVS is a student-centered organization.
Prior to working at FLVS, Mrs. Finora was attracted by the professional approach demonstrated by FLVS faculty and staff. She recognized their desire to understand and respond to the needs of students, parents, and local school counselors. That same desire motivated Mrs. Finora to become employed at FLVS.
Mrs. Finora earned her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. She continues to cheer on the Florida Gators and is a big Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan! She is married with one son and enjoys her role as a soccer mom.
