Anna Coppola says she was hooked on online learning as a university student, taking as many online courses as she could. Since she was also hooked on science and on teaching as a profession, becoming a science teacher for FLVS seems almost inevitable.
Mrs. Coppola believes that one of her most important strengths as a teacher is her ability to put herself in the place of her students. Her goal is to help her students become life-long learners while remaining a life-long learner herself. Now in her fourth year as a teacher, Mrs. Coppola finds rewards in the times when her students grasp a new concept or develop a deeper understanding of how scientific processes work.
Mrs. Coppola completed her B.A. degree in Secondary Science Education in Biology at the University of South Florida , and her A.A. degree at Manatee Community College . She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two young daughters.
